Our men’s corner section has been neglected for too long. This time we had among us Sergiu, who took the spotlight with a hand made suit. Cut from a personal pattern, pieced together in-house and fitted, this bespoke Men’s Square suit is a unique hand-made garment that reveals something of the character of its owner.
Having said that, we could not realize the shooting other than in a special location. You already know that I enjoy bringing out to light some historical places, so for this one I chose “Casa Scanteii” building. This impressive edifice was designed by architect Horia Maicu and completed in 1956 (based on the Lomonosov Moscow State University). Originally housing the editorial offices of almost all of the Bucharest’s newspapers, it today carries out pretty much the same function. Coresi Typography, the place where the printing industry was founded, is still here. And we were inside! Insanely awsome!
Stay tuned as I have more insights from Coresi. xx
Love this vintage paper guillotines machine!
